Registered Nurse (RN) Infusion Center

Inova Schar Cancer Institute's Adult Infusion Clinic is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the team at their Fairfax location. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday - Saturday. Our nurses work three 12-hour shifts and our clinic is open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible. As an Infusion Center Registered Nurse, you will communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others while having respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines. Your ability to provide comprehensive patient and family education including information about treatments, medications, chemotherapy and other appropriate items, while keeping patients and families informed about all aspects of the plan of care, is required. Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.

Education:

BSN or ADN - If ADN then complete BSN within 5 years of start date BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association required Chemotherapy Card required within 3 months RN licensed, and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others. Proficient computer skills required.
