Qualifications:
Valid RN license, eligible to practice in Virginia At least 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile field maintenance, and instrumentation Adaptability and ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the surgical suite Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical cases Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Accurately document surgical procedures and patient responses Deliver compassionate pre- and post-operative care and education to patients and families
