Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Proficient in circulating and scrubbing CVOR procedures Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred) Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong critical thinking under pressure

Responsibilities:

Assist surgical teams by providing nursing care during complex cardiovascular procedures Ensure the operating room environment is sterile and well-prepared Effectively communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes or emergencies Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
