Telemetry Registered Nurse - Franklin, Virginia

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse with experience in Telemetry for a dynamic contract opportunity. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise and a commitment to exceptional patient care within a fast-paced telemetry unit. The successful candidate will play a vital role in monitoring and supporting patients who require continuous cardiac observation while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Schedule/Hours:

Full-time contract position Shifts determined by facility needs (details will be provided during the interview process)

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted RN license Recent experience in a Telemetry or similar monitored setting Comprehensive knowledge of telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms Proficient in patient assessment, clinical documentation, and electronic health records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ACLS and BLS certifications are required

Responsibilities:

Monitor, assess, and document patient cardiac rhythms and overall condition Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient status Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to provide holistic patient care Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and care transitions Adhere to established protocols, infection control standards, and safety measures
