Registered Nurse Hampton, Virginia Pay From:
$34.00 per hour
MUST:
Experienced Registered Nurse 2 plus years of experience as a Registered Nurse Must have an active and good standing Registered Nurse Virginia licensure Must have BiTE therapy experience - Bispecific T-cell Engager Must have BCLS certification
DUTIES:
Registered Nurse will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Administers bispecific therapies and manages treatment schedules Assesses patients for toxicities, such as CRS and neurological symptoms (ICANS), particularly during initial doses Educates patients and caregivers on treatment plans, potential side effects, and when to seek emergency care Collaborate closely with physicians, urgent care teams, and nursing staff to ensure seamless coordination of care Collaborates with oncologists to coordinate care, including identifying hospitals for emergency care if needed Provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care Maintains detailed records, including tracking Adverse Events (AEs) and following Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies Monitor and promote adherence to treatment plans and therapy protocols Develop and initiate patient treatment schedules and assessment tools Apply critical thinking skills to anticipate patient needs and deliver proactive care based on established BiTE therapy guidelines Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
