Schedule/Hours:
Travel position with flexibility based on facility needsQualifications/Experience:
Active RN license (valid for the state or compact) Minimum 1 year recent experience in Stepdown or Cardiac Stepdown units BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Experience with post-cardiac event monitoring and medication titration preferred Excellent communication and patient advocacy skillsKey Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to patients in a stepdown/cardiac stepdown environment Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize and respond to arrhythmias and changes in patient status Administer medications and manage complex drips per protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans Educate patients and their families on cardiac recovery, lifestyle, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policiesBenefits & Perks:
