Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse license, valid in Virginia or compact states Minimum of two years' recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) RN experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Demonstrated expertise in cardiac surgical procedures, including scrub and circulating roles Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly to new protocols and team dynamics

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients Scrub and circulate during a variety of cardiac procedures Assess, plan, and document preoperative and postoperative patient care Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and teammates to maintain optimal outcomes Apply infection control and safety protocols consistently Support patient/family education throughout surgical care
