Infusion Registered Nurse - Herndon, VA

Category Nursing - RN - Infusion Job Type Direct Hire Step into an exciting role at a brand-new pharmacy and infusion suite, where you'll serve as the primary RN leading infusion therapy in both a clinical suite and patient homes. This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape nursing operations from the ground up, working closely with the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing to ensure outstanding patient care and seamless coordination. You will administer both acute and specialty drug infusions, oversee documentation, and provide administrative support in a dynamic environment where your expertise and vision will be integral to future growth.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm (variable hours) Participation in on-call rotation, covering nights and weekends as needed Travel up to 1 hour each way to patient homes

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required, MSN preferred Current RN license in good standing At least 2 years of recent nursing practice in home health, home infusion, or a related specialty (e.g., oncology, critical care) Minimum 1 year of supervisory or administrative management experience within the past 5 years in a home health or infusion setting Clinical proficiency with IV therapies and knowledge of vascular access devices Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred Valid driver's license with no significant restrictions Proficiency with MS Office Willingness to provide care in homes with pets or cigarette smoke exposure

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and indirect skilled nursing care, initiate and manage physician orders Oversee orientation, training, and ongoing competence of nursing personnel Coordinate patient care scheduling and ensure compliance in documentation Respond to emergencies promptly during and outside operating hours Support program planning, policy implementation, and multidisciplinary collaboration This role offers up to $120k as part of a direct hire arrangement.
