Infusion Registered Nurse - Manassas, Virginia

Category Nursing - RN - Infusion Job Type Direct Hire Take the lead in a vital, hands-on nursing role within a newly established pharmacy and infusion suite. This position involves providing comprehensive infusion therapy to patients both onsite and in their homes, covering acute and specialty medications. As the pioneering nurse, you'll set the standard for patient care and operational excellence until further staff are onboarded. The role requires versatility, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to outstanding service—even when working independently, traveling up to an hour for home visits, or managing in-home environments with animals or cigarette smoke.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (variable) On-call rotation required, including occasional nights and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and indirect skilled infusion and nursing care in suite and home environments Implement and oversee physician orders related to infusion therapy Coordinate care with schedulers and clinical coordinators Ensure accurate, timely patient documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements Engage in service planning, decision-making, and clinical policy development Supervise, train, and motivate nursing staff as the team grows Respond promptly to emergencies, supporting continuous operations

Desired Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN required; MSN preferred Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum 2 years' experience in specialties such as home infusion, oncology, critical care, home health, or nutrition support At least 1 year of recent supervisory/administrative experience in home health or infusion Pediatric experience strongly preferred Valid driver's license; ability to travel up to 1 hour one way Strong proficiency with vascular access devices and IV therapies Advanced specialty certifications (CRNI, ONS, IgRN) a plus Capable of managing complex projects and clinical staff development Solid command of MS Office This opportunity offers a competitive salary of up to $120,000 plus the chance to build a new clinical service from the ground up.
