Registered Nurse Manassas Health & Rehab Center - MANASSAS, VA 20109 Apply Overview Position Type Part Time Apply Description Registered Nurse (RN) Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring clinical excellence throughout the center. This role may also serve as Nursing Supervisor and House Supervisor as needed. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Administrative Duties Serve as House Supervisor in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), and RN Supervisor. Supervise, coach, and support licensed nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Participate in the center's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. Serve on committees and special projects as assigned. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and exceptional patient care. Address patient, family, and staff concerns promptly and professionally while keeping nursing leadership informed of outcomes. Clinical Responsibilities Direct and oversee the delivery of nursing care to patients. Conduct daily patient rounds and assessments, identifying and reporting changes in condition to the healthcare team, physician, patient, and responsible party as appropriate. Ensure accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care. Review physician orders, diagnostic results, and pharmacy reports, ensuring timely follow-up and implementation. Participate in clinical rounds and communicate patient updates to the interdisciplinary team. Assist in developing, implementing, and updating individualized patient care plans. Perform physical assessments and recognize changes from a patient's baseline condition. Provide wound care and other treatments in accordance with physician orders and established standards of practice. Administer medications safely and accurately in compliance with clinical policies and procedures. Complete incident and accident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken. Participate in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Coordinate new admissions by ensuring patient rooms are prepared and all admission requirements are completed prior to arrival. Provide direct patient care as needed to support quality outcomes and operational needs. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Leadership experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff. Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. Why Join Our Team? Qualifications Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions. Two years of medical-surgical experience as a RN, preferred. Demonstrates excellent clinical, customer service and leadership skills. Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.
