Within its refined and highly personalized environment, skilled nurses work alongside a distinguished team of plastic surgeons and aesthetic physicians to provide attentive, patient-centered care throughout every stage of the surgical journey. Known for its luxurious atmosphere, advanced techniques, and commitment to outstanding outcomes, the center empowers nurses to combine clinical expertise with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail while helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and supported. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our surgical team in the capacity of a Surgical Scrub Technician. This role is essential to supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical procedures while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the perioperative process. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, possesses a strong understanding of medical terminology, and demonstrates the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room to ensure it meets the highest standards of sterility and organization. This includes setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies in advance of procedures, as well as adhering to strict sterilization protocols through the cleaning, inspection, and assembly of surgical tools. You will also assist in preparing patients for surgery by positioning them appropriately, applying sterile draping, and ensuring their comfort and safety. During surgical procedures, you will play a critical role in supporting the surgical team by anticipating the needs of the surgeon and providing instruments and supplies with precision and efficiency. Maintaining a sterile field at all times is essential, requiring strict adherence to aseptic techniques, proper gowning and gloving, and vigilant monitoring of the operating room environment to prevent contamination. You may also assist with the collection, labeling, and transfer of specimens, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols. Collaboration is central to this position, as you will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure seamless surgical operations and optimal patient outcomes. Following procedures, you will assist with operating room turnover, including cleaning, restocking supplies, and ensuring the proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Given the specialized nature of the practice, experience in plastic or cosmetic surgery is highly preferred. Familiarity with aesthetic procedures, surgical instrumentation specific to plastics, and an understanding of the precision required in cosmetic outcomes are valuable assets in this role. Candidates with exposure to plastic surgery environments will be better equipped to anticipate surgeon preferences and contribute to the elevated standard of care our patients expect. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong sterile technique, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. A commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant clinical environment, combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills, is essential. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-end surgical practice where clinical excellence and aesthetic precision come together to deliver transformative results.
