Job Description
The Center for Diabetes Technology at the University of Virginia is seeking Registered Nurses to work on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role involves performing blood draws from indwelling catheters and via fingerstick on study participants, as well as adhering to research study procedures and protocols in both inpatient and on-location settings. Study-specific research training will be provided. Shifts may include day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday hours and are scheduled based on study needs. Employees will work on an as-needed basis (PRN) and will not exceed 40 hours per week. Hourly rate is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year.
