Key Responsibilities:
Conduct study procedures: clinical assessments, vitals, sample collection (phlebotomy, ECG, specimen coordination) within RN scope. Administer investigational products, monitor participants, and respond to adverse events. Drive participant recruitment and informed consent (GCP, FDA, ICH compliance). Collaborate closely with PIs, CRCs, providers, and military/federal teams. Maintain detailed protocol documentation and electronic data query resolution. Ensure audit readiness, protocol adherence, and support regulatory submissions. Serve as a liaison with military, federal healthcare, and research stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (BSN, RN)
- Virginia license (or compact) Minimum of 2+ years recent clinical trial research experience Strong clinical and regulatory/documentation skills Knowledge of DoD, VA, or federal environment Active Secret clearance (or ability/willingness to obtain) Must be local to Portsmouth, VA area Nice to
Have:
ACRP or SOCRA certification MHS GENESIS or military/federal healthcare experience Prior work supporting complex clinical trial protocols (phases I-IV)
