Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. 12 months of Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit experience. 12 months of travel experience is required. Experience with Epic is preferred. BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission). This role will require floating to multiple units Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. COVID booster required after submission. Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience required MS/Tele experience required; ability to care for patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, trachs, chest tubes, and tube feeds (Kangaroo pumps); phlebotomy required

Preferred Skills/Experience:

6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting CAPD experience preferred

Patient Population:

Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a mixed MS/Tele unit; includes pre/post hemodialysis care and CAPD patients

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend and major holiday required

Floating Requirements:

Traveler may float to other MS/Tele units as needed 7 days maximum time off 2 references required from within the last 2 years Proof of identification required for submission
