Job Description

As a leading Residential Treatment Center in the Greater Richmond area, Hallmark Youthcare treats adolescents with emotional issues triggered by trauma. Treatment is provided in a warm and friendly environment by a group of well-trained, highly motivated staff that takes pride in delivering quality care. We are currently looking for positive and energetic PRN Registered Nurses (RN). Our RNs use critical thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality care to our residents utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for fostering quality outcomes.
Pay:
Up to $42.00 hourly (Including Shift Differentials) Hours 7:00 am - 7:00 pm or 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Qualifications Include:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia by the Department of Health Professions (please contact us directly if you are licensed in another state) Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing 1+ years nursing experience, psychiatric experience preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Capable of communicating effectively verbally and with sound documentation skills Knowledge of medications, their proper dosage, effects and contraindications Ability to plan and organize assigned work. Ability to interact appropriately with residents ages 11-17 Ability to apply sound judgment with clinical skills to ensure optimal patient care Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
