Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center (SBVCC) is recruiting for a wage RN Floor Nurse with Charge Nurse responsibilities for the following shifts: 7AM
• 330PM every weekend (Saturday & Sunday) 3PM
• 1130PM every weekend (Saturday & Sunday) 3PM
• 1130PM every Tuesday & Thursday Part-time wage employees are not eligible for benefits and hours are limited to 1500 hours per year (May 1
• April 30).

Job Duties Include Formulates plan of care for new residents. Prepares all required reports and documentation. Consults with Nursing Supervisor/Unit Manager as needed. Maintains equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for nursing care. Administers medications and treatment accurately for assigned residents. Documents residents' health changes via acute care nurse's notes and shift change nursing reports. Consults with physicians; receiving, recording, and implementing orders and scheduling appointments. Completes daily rounds; observes and evaluates the physical and emotional status of assigned residents and taking necessary actions to ensure their health and well-being. Minimum Qualifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
