Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional care to critically ill cardiac patients in the CVICU, adhering to advanced protocols and safety standards Monitor cardiac rhythms, respond swiftly to emergent situations, and manage life-sustaining equipment Document patient progress accurately and work closely with physicians and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans Educate patients and families, offering support throughout their care journey Participate actively in interdisciplinary rounds and foster a culture of collaboration

Qualifications:

Active RN License valid in the state of Virginia or compact states Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a CVICU or cardiac critical care environment BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required Strong clinical judgment and prior experience with cardiac monitors, vasoactive drips, and advanced cardiac interventions
