Schedule/Hours:
Travel contract (exact hours/schedule provided upon offer)Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Active RN license (Compact State or specific state eligibility required) Minimum of one year recent Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit experience preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teamsPrimary Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to Stepdown patients recovering from acute conditions or transitioning from critical care Monitor vital signs, administer medications and IV drips, and perform thorough patient assessments Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans and patient progress Document all care activities and assessments accurately in electronic medical records Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and care coordination Ensure adherence to evidence-based protocols and safety standardsBenefits and Travel Perks:
