Job Description

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) seeks New Graduate Registered Nurses to join Vermont's First Accredited RN New Grad Residency Program. Our program is specially designed to provide support, guidance and help develop a nurse's knowledge and skill during the first year of practice while transitioning into the constantly changing world of healthcare. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care. Minimum Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
Prior emergency department or critical care nursing experience preferred
Required Licenses/ Certifications:
Ability to obtain valid Vermont State Registered Nurse licensure by date of employment required. Health Care Provider
BLS, ACLS, PALS
certification required within 90 days of hire. Night shift and rotating weekends/holidays are a requirements
