- Act as a consultant for health education
- Maintain appropriate school and state statistical information
- Interpret the health and developmental assessment to parents, teachers, administrators and other professionals
- Participate in the development of Individual Educational Plans/504/EST
- Delegates and supervises specific health care duties to designated person(s)
- Provide health counseling to students, parents and school personnel as appropriate
- Collaborate with other school personnel in monitoring, reporting and recommending changes for safety hazards and sanitary conditions in the school environment
- Provide in-service for health related issues as needed
- Provide health care services
- Adhere to all District policies and regulations
