Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) on the Night Shift (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)! This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical settings. Whether working in acute care, long-term care, or specialized units, you will play a key role in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties Deliver comprehensive nursing care by assessing patient conditions through vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed patient assessments. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and catheterizations, adhering strictly to HIPAA and safety protocols. Manage complex cases such as dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, hospice, and palliative needs with empathy and professionalism. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner to document medical records, medication administration, and diagnostic evaluations. Perform specialized procedures including sterile techniques, tube feeding management, wound suturing, and respiratory support such as ventilator management. Conduct triage assessments for urgent or emergent cases in emergency room or urgent care settings; provide immediate interventions for acute pain or infectious disease concerns. Support discharge planning and case management efforts to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home or long-term care facilities. Requirements Valid RN or LPN license in good standing; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are highly preferred. Proven experience in diverse clinical environments including ICU, emergency medicine, medical-surgical units, geriatrics, or home & community care. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical terminology for accurate documentation and billing. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with Alzheimer's and dementia care is a plus. Ability to perform complex procedures such as venipuncture, phlebotomy, spinal taps, catheterization, and specimen collection with aseptic technique. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with critical thinking to prioritize urgent needs effectively. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with medical imaging and laboratory processes is advantageous. Pay:
$30.83 - $37.13 per hour
