Newport , VT Gross pay :$2700/week for 36 hours Total Hourly pay : $75 /hr
Breakdown :
W2 rate : $41/hr ( Taxable ) Per diem : $1224/week (Non -Taxable )
Shift :
Nights 36 hours are Guaranteed hours
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years required
Required Certifications :
BLS , ACLS ,NRP, STABLE
, Covid Card Responsibilities Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum care to women throughout the childbirth process, including monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs. Assist with various obstetric procedures such as suturing, epidural administration, and neonatal resuscitation to support safe deliveries. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Conduct thorough patient assessments, document medical histories, and update electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately using platforms like Epic or Cerner. Educate patients on labor progression, pain management options including epidurals or alternative therapies, and postpartum care instructions. Skills Proven experience in labor and delivery nursing within hospital settings, including Level I or Level II trauma centers. Strong knowledge of obstetric procedures such as suturing, catheterization, IV infusion, and airway management. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physiological evaluations related to pregnancy and childbirth. Skilled in neonatal care practices including resuscitation, tube feeding, and infant assessment

$70.00 - $75.00 per hour
