Job Description

RN - Med surg| St Johnsbury, VT 13 weeks | 12 hrs days RN licence in
VT BLS - AHA
Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed history taking to inform individualized care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management, following strict aseptic techniques and hospital protocols. Monitor patients' conditions continuously, utilizing advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document care activities accurately. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans aligned with best practices in acute care and medical-surgical nursing. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory testing, specimen collection/processing, and imaging procedures like sonography or radiology when needed. Provide patient education on treatment plans, discharge instructions, medication administration, and health coaching to promote recovery and self-care. #1004
