We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable professional who is passionate about aesthetics and committed to contributing to a positive, collaborative, and patient-first environment. ________________________________________
The Ideal Candidate:
You are a natural relationship-builder. You excel at making patients feel seen, heard, and comfortable, and you take pride in being their trusted clinical guide and advocate. You thrive in a dynamic, "all hands on deck" environment. You are proactive, enjoy variety in your workday, and are always willing to support your teammates to ensure the day runs smoothly. You have a genuine passion for the aesthetic field. You are knowledgeable about both surgical and non-surgical treatments and are excited to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals. You are meticulously organized and detail-oriented. You understand that in a smaller practice, precision in charting, patient communication, and clinical prep is paramount to safety and success. You are a polished professional. You understand you are an ambassador for the practice and present yourself with confidence and warmth. ________________________________________
Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient-Centric Care (Clinic & OR): Serve as the central point of clinical contact, guiding patients seamlessly from initial consultation through to their final post-operative visit. Perform comprehensive pre-operative consultations and post-operative follow-up care, including wound care, drain management, and suture removal, always prioritizing patient education and comfort. Act as a patient advocate in the OR and PACU, ensuring their safety and managing their recovery with a compassionate and reassuring presence. Assist physicians with in-office procedures, including injectables, laser treatments, and other non-surgical services.
Clinical & Operational Excellence:
Function as a highly competent circulating nurse, managing the OR environment to ensure efficiency and sterility. Prepare patients for surgery, including starting IVs, administering medications, and completing final safety checks. Maintain meticulous documentation, manage patient charts for medical clearances, and ensure all pre-surgical requirements are met. Contribute to inventory management, sterilization processes, and maintaining a pristine and well-stocked clinical environment. Act as a key liaison between the surgical team and the patient's family, providing clear and timely updates.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Washington state RN licensure. Must have and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a plastic surgery, dermatology, or medical spa setting is essential. Proven ability to work autonomously, think critically, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with injectables (e.g., Botox, fillers) and other non-surgical aesthetic treatments is a significant plus.
