13-week assignment in Bremerton, Washington. Competitive pay up to $2,850 per week and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to women in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal units, ensuring safety and comfort throughout all stages of childbirth. Attend deliveries independently, assist with c‑sections, and support neonatal resuscitation procedures, including catching babies and transitioning newborns. Monitor fetal and maternal status using EFM systems and read strips accurately; respond promptly to abnormalities. Titrate titratable drips such as magnesium, pitocin, and insulin as ordered, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Collaborate with an in‑house OB/Neonatologist and anesthesia providers for emergent situations, maintaining clear communication and swift action.
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state or ability to obtain licensure. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required. Prefer intermediate or advanced FHM certification. At least 2 years of current Labor & Delivery experience; previous travel experience preferred. Candidates with 1 year of experience and multiple prior travel assignments may be considered. Ability to titrate magnesium, pitocin, and insulin drips as ordered. Comfortable attending deliveries independently. Strong assessment skills. Excellent communication skills. Adaptable to workflow and policies.
Preferred Skills:
Previous travel experience Intermediate or advanced FHM certification
