Health Services Administrator (HSA) - RN Required Correctional Healthcare Partners (CHP) Overview Correctional Healthcare Partners (CHP) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Health Services Administrator (HSA) within a correctional facility. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of healthcare services while ensuring clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient site performance. The HSA serves as the administrative and operational leader on-site, working closely with clinical leadership, CHP operations, and facility partners to ensure high-quality care is delivered to the incarcerated population. Key Responsibilities Site Operations & Leadership Oversee day-to-day healthcare operations within the correctional facility Serve as the primary on-site administrative leader and liaison between CHP, facility staff, and leadership Ensure adherence to CHP policies, procedures, and operational standards Promote a collaborative, accountable, and patient-centered work environment Clinical Oversight & Support Utilize clinical expertise as an RN to support nursing operations and ensure quality patient care Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), Medical Director, and clinical staff Assist in addressing clinical workflow challenges and supporting best practices Ensure clinical documentation and processes meet regulatory and accreditation standards Staffing & Workforce Management Partner with Recruitment and HR to support hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts Maintain and manage the site staffing matrix to ensure adequate coverage Coordinate staff schedules in collaboration with nursing leadership Monitor staffing needs and proactively address gaps to maintain continuity of care Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as CHP policies Support audits, inspections, and accreditation activities Monitor and maintain accurate records related to staffing, operations, and compliance Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational and clinical outcomes Financial & Administrative Oversight Support site operations in alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements Monitor labor utilization and assist in maintaining cost-effective staffing practices Collaborate with leadership on operational planning and resource allocation Collaboration & Communication Serve as a key liaison between CHP leadership, clinical teams, and correctional facility partners Participate in leadership meetings and provide regular operational updates Foster strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (required) Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred 3+ years of nursing experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience in correctional healthcare, behavioral health, or a similar regulated setting strongly preferred Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance standards, and clinical workflows Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience Prior experience in a Health Services Administrator (HSA), Nurse Manager, or similar leadership role Experience in a startup or rapidly growing healthcare organization Familiarity with staffing matrices and workforce planning Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (clinical, HR, operations) Work Environment On-site position within a correctional facility Must be comfortable working in a secure, structured environment Requires adherence to all facility safety and security protocols Why CHP?
