1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Medical-Surgical position at a critical access teaching hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience. Details Medical-Surgical unit in a 25-bed critical access, non-trauma teaching hospital Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Every other weekend required On-call required once per pay period Patient ratio of 1:5 Charting via Epic (experience required) No floating between units within this facility, though travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state No parking fee Requirements Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required Epic EMR proficiency required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Scrubs may be any color Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive time-off requests may impact the hiring process Any RTO or scheduling requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests are not guaranteed to be approved
