Company DescriptionKVH is an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes 24-hour emergency care, inpatient, and outpatient hospital services through KVH Hospital. Clinics and services provided include family medicine, internal medicine, a geriatric nurse practitioner program, home health and hospice, physical therapy, orthopedics, general surgery, pediatrics, women's health, and urgent care.

The registered nurse is accountable for direct patient care and for supervising the care provided by professional and ancillary personnel. The registered nurse assesses and plans for the educational needs of the patient and family that will contribute to the maintenance or restoration of health status on discharge. As a member of the health team, the registered nurse implements the nursing plan, coordinates with the medical plan and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Professionalism is demonstrated by quality of care, leadership and in continued professional growth and development. Quality assurance endeavors, through process improvement initiatives, are implemented through and with the nursing team. Any RN in the hospital may be requested to float to other departments as patient needs dictate.
QualificationsWhat is required...Graduate of an accredited nursing program & currently licensed in the State of WashingtonCurrent BLS for Healthcare Providers card (maintenance required)ACLS within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)PALS or ENPC within 6 months of hire (maintenance required)TNCC within 12 months of hire (maintenance required)Emergency Severity Index training within 6 monthsWhat is preferred...One to two years of previous clinical experience preferred in appropriate nursing areaBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)

Additional InformationWage:
Wage range currently starts at $44.70/hour and goes up to $79.60/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. Shift Differentials apply; Evenings (3p-11p) = $3.00/hour, Nights (11p - 7a) = 12% of hourly base rate, Weekends = $3.50/hour.FTE:
.5 (40 hours/payperiod).Shift:
Primary shift will be days, 7:00p-3:30p; Five eight-hour shifts per pay period. Days vary, every other weekend.Benefits:
