Type:
Six-month contract, opportunity for extension or full time offer
Schedule:
30 to 40 hours per week, 10-hour days. No weekends, holidays or evenings!
Pay:
$49.50 to $51.50 an hour Key Responsibilities of the
Registered Nurse:
Accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care Supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family Function within the clinic to include accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients Provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts Delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources Evaluates unstable or complex patient care situations and facilitates appropriate intervention Possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects Responsible for educational instruction to patients and families with health care needs Evaluates effectiveness of patient and family teaching and makes documentation in patient's charts Other duties may be assigned as required Qualifications for the
Registered Nurse:
Associates degree Active and good standing RN license in Washington Current BLS and ACLS certifications One year of experience within operating room (ambulatory surgery center OR hospital outpatient department) Why work for Adecco? Pay Details:
