1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring Epic proficiency and hands-on cardiovascular and thoracic OR experience. Details Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across both campuses CVOR unit performing CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, carotid cutdowns, VATS, RATS, mediastinoscopy, pericardial windows, tamponade repair, minimally invasive cardiac procedures, and laser lead standby Floating required to Main OR and potentially between all facilities within the state

Schedule:

4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM

• 5:00 PM On-call requirements: at least 1 weekend per month and 5 weekday evenings per month Weekends are call-based only — no routine weekend shifts Charting system: Epic (required) Requirements Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (pending license accepted) Current BLS certification required; ACLS, CNOR, and PALS preferred Minimum 1 year of OR experience required Required procedural experience: general OR, cardiovascular/thoracic, and laparoscopic cases Experience with CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, carotid cutdowns, VATS, RATS, mediastinoscopy, and minimally invasive cardiac procedures Epic EMR experience required Scrub experience is not required — circulator experience is sufficient At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are not accepted for this position Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Scrub color: any color except reddish-orange Facility-paid parking All requested time off must be submitted upfront; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied Refusal to float when required may result in assignment termination
