As a district-wide substitute RN, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the well-being of students, collaborating with Health Room Attendants in various schools. This part-time contract position guarantees 16 hours per week, with additional hours available as needs arise. The flexible nature of this placement means you'll work in different locations within the district, providing essential care where it's most needed.

Qualifications:

Valid and active RN license/certification required Experience or passion for school nursing and working with youth Strong assessment and communication skills Ability to adapt and provide care across multiple school sites Comfortable collaborating with Health Room Attendants and other school staff

Responsibilities:

Respond swiftly to student health needs, emergencies, or daily care requirements Administer medications, perform routine assessments, and carry out individualized healthcare plans Maintain accurate, confidential health records for students Serve as the point person for health room coverage across the district Educate students and staff on wellness, safety, and medical topics Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student health concerns
