1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of OR experience, robotics proficiency, and an active WA or compact RN license. Details Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 30% inpatient, 70% outpatient, and 10% pediatric case mix Surgical specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, spine, ENT, total joints, neuro/spine, OB-GYN, plastics, robotics, trauma, and vascular Circulator and scrub roles required across specialties Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) On-call may be required; weekend coverage for on-call support only Floating between facilities within the state may be required
EMR:
Epic (required) Requirements Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required Orthopedic sports medicine experience required Robotics experience required Scrub experience preferred; ENT with endoscope experience strongly preferred Proficiency required in: procedural sedation, blood/blood products administration, drain management, epidural pumps, PICC/central lines, Port-A-Cath/vascular device access and care, and wound vac Epic EMR experience required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former permanent staff of Swedish/Providence facilities must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler, and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, registry, or per diem), including location and dates
