Direct Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) health care provider in the capacity of a credentialed Nurse Practitioner to provide OB-GYN care services to female pients. Provide independent, primary, comprehensive and therapeutic health care services, to include examining, assessing, diagnosing, and treing pients in the OB-GYN Clinic. Identify and manage, according to outlined protocols, own case load of antepartum and postpartum pients, and those with gynecologic problems. Provide teaching to pients and their families regarding the disease process, diagnostic tests, the therapeutic regimen including medicion, diet and follow-up care. Secure a health and medical history from the pients or family member, record findings and make clinical evaluion. Employees assigned to a medical trement facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizions or pre-existing immunity based on occupional risk, regardless of job series (Tuberculosis, Hepitis, etc.) This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examinion and an annual examinion thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position. This position has a lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds (lbs). This position is a Testing Designed Position. All applicants tentively selected for this position required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Applicants must be able to fulfill credentialing requirements and obtain and maintain approprie/relevant clinical privileges. This position requires Basic Life Support training certificion from the American Heart Associion or Military Training Network within 30 days of employment.
