Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse

• Infusion to join an outpatient oncology and infusion clinic.

The RN will provide specialized care to oncology, hematology, and non-oncology patients requiring chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hydration, and infusion treatments in an outpatient setting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion therapies safely and accurately Monitor patients during treatment and recognize/manage adverse reactions or oncologic emergencies Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines Perform IV starts, IV hydration, and infusion pump management Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and symptom management Recognize and communicate abnormal laboratory values Maintain compliance with chemotherapy handling and cytotoxic spill protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, radiology, social services, and phlebotomy Support patients with symptom management including nausea, neuropathy, edema, constipation/diarrhea, and skin/mucous membrane alterations

Skills:

IV Therapy and Infusions Chemotherapy Administration Immunotherapy/Biotherapy Central Line & PICC Line Care Port Access & Management Infusion Pump Management IM/Subcutaneous Injection Experience Symptom Management Oncologic Emergency Response Patient & Family Education Neutropenic Precautions & PPE Requirements:

Active RN License AHA

• BLS Certification

ONS/ONCC

Chemotherapy Certification required OCN Certification preferred Outpatient Infusion or Oncology experience required Inpatient Oncology experience may be considered Experience administering chemotherapy required RN01
