Desired Qualifications and Skills:

Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license required Demonstrated previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care Strong knowledge of protocols for managing student health plans, emergencies, and medication administration Excellent organizational skills with ability to oversee records and documentation Compassionate communicator skilled in working with middle and high school students Adaptable mindset, comfortable managing fluctuating caseload details CPR/BLS certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing services, health screenings, and emergency care onsite across the district Monitor and support chronic health conditions for students, in alignment with 504/IEP plans Serve as a health resource for students, staff, and parents, promoting wellness and prevention Coordinate with district administrators and teaching staff to respond to health-related needs Accurately document health interactions and maintain confidentiality in compliance with regulations Participate in health education initiatives and contribute to building-wide wellness strategies This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate RN to immerse themselves in the school environment, making a real difference throughout the school year.
