Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mother Baby/Labor & Delivery team. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while providing exceptional support to mothers, newborns, and families. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery process. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, newborn care, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards. Ensure patient safety and adherence to all clinical protocols and best practices. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state. Acute Care RN experience preferred. Minimum one (1) year of RN experience preferred, particularly in specialty nursing departments. Ability to independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or equivalent within 30 days of hire.
ACLS, NRP, AWHOON MSE
(Medical Screening Examination) competency validation required within 6 months of completing Labor & Delivery training. RN-C certification preferred.

$3,294.00 per week
