• 5 weeks with possible extension Start

Job Duties :

Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure optimal patient care. Conduct physical examinations and assessments for patients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Athenahealth systems and DRG guidelines. Train and mentor nursing staff on best practices and new procedures. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license with relevant supervisory experience preferred. Strong clinical skills in areas such as triage, emergency medicine, dementia care, gastric lavage, IV insertion, and tube feeding. Proficient in using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and patient-centered care. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.

NOTE:

You must take care of 74 bed secured Alzheimer's/Dementia facility. There will be 4 on 2 off rotation RN for a short-term contract. Patient ration is approximately 27-32 long term care residents.
