Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN)•Labor & Delivery provides compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period. The RN monitors maternal and fetal well-being, assists with deliveries, responds to obstetric emergencies, and collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery. Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and provide immediate postpartum care. Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management, including epidurals. Recognize and respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies. Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care. Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements:
Active WA State or Multistate RN license.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM
certifications. Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required. Experience with fetal monitoring, labor induction/augmentation, and postpartum recovery. Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
Pay Details:
For Local Candidates pay rate: $65 to $71 /hour (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility) For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility): Blended Hourly W2
