  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team.
Your expertise will support patients with complex respiratory conditions, ensuring they receive optimal treatment and comfort. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes through advanced respiratory therapy and critical care skills. Duties Assess patients' respiratory status and providing respiratory therapies under the direction of an RT. Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen therapy, nebulization, ventilator management, and airway clearance techniques with precision and care. Respond swiftly to cardiac arrest emergencies and airway management situations by implementing advanced life support protocols like Basic Life Support (BLS) and advanced airway techniques. Conduct thorough patient assessments focusing on anatomy knowledge, physiology understanding, and medical terminology to inform treatment strategies. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and responses in compliance with hospital policies. Skills Extensive experience in long-term care Proficiency in airway management techniques and ventilator operation for acute care patients across diverse age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics. Skilled in medication administration related to respiratory conditions and understanding of medical equipment operation. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments with attention to detail while demonstrating excellent clinical judgment. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems for documentation and data management. Capable of responding efficiently during cardiac arrest emergencies with appropriate protocols in place. Technical proficiency in medical equipment operation combined with excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
