Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a stand-alone birthing centre. The RN will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery while ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and recognize complications Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth Educate patients and families on childbirth, recovery, and newborn care Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR Respond effectively in emergency situations involving mother or infant Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and clinical protocols
Pay:
$65.00 - $70.00 per hour
