Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of students by stepping into a rewarding, contract-based nursing role in a well-supported school environment near Puyallup, WA. This position is suited for dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) who are passionate about providing high-quality healthcare to children and adolescents. You'll be a key collaborator in supporting student wellness and academic success.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and valid RN or LPN/LVN license in Washington state Current CPR/BLS certification Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting is preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare procedures, state guidelines, and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care and medical services to students with both chronic and acute health needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized healthcare and emergency plans Administer medications, first aid, and necessary treatments on campus as needed Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance tracking Serve as a resource for health education and wellness promotion within the school community Maintain accurate health records and comply with confidentiality standards Step into a nurturing school environment where you'll build meaningful connections and provide essential healthcare oversight for students.
