Job Description

Job Summary:
o Apex Spine Institute is looking for a Registered Nurse to work as a PACU nurse in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. •
Days/Hours:
o
Most Tuesdays:
0830-1630 o Occasional Wednesdays 08:30-16:30 o No Weekends/No Call/No Holidays •
Responsibilities:
o Care for patients before and after outpatient surgeries o Complete thorough medical history and medication reconciliation. o Answer patient questions about the surgeries performed here. o Post anesthesia care o Make patient assessments and promptly report critical changes to supervising physician o Maintain accurate patient records o Utilize aseptic technique to keep patient areas clean o Provide excellent discharge teaching to both patients and family members. •
Required Qualifications:
o Ability to think critically o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment o Valid BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association o Valid and unencumbered license in WA State •
Preferred:
o Experience as a Pre-Op/PACU nurse in a hospital or ASC o Advanced knowledge of anesthesiology Apex Spine requires all new hires and employees to report their
COVID-19

Pay:
$50.00 per hour
