Job Description

Location:
Richland, WA Job Description We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join an inpatient neonatal care team in Richland, Washington. This position operates on night shifts within a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), focusing on clinical care for newborns requiring specialized medical support.
Shift Schedule:
Night shift rotation. 36 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide clinical nursing care to neonates within a Level
III NICU
setting. Monitor critical patient vitals and manage neonatal medical equipment. Administer medications according to established healthcare safety protocols. Collaborate with neonatologists, multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and families regarding patient care plans. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records during the night shift.
Qualifications and Requirements:
License:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Washington (Required).
Certifications:
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Specialized Training:
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, or willingness to obtain it within the first 90 days of employment.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience. Clinical experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting is preferred.
