  • UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-TIME, REGISTERED NURSE in the
OPERATING ROOM DEPARTMENT.
  • WORK
SCHEDULE
  • Full time / 40 Hours per week
  • Rotating/variable shift
  • POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Circulate and Scrub a variety of surgical cases
  • As a registered nurse (RN), you can be a part of this highly skilled team, working within a culture that is collaborative. Here, you will work in tandem with physicians and other health care practitioners to provide superior, nursing care.
  • PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for surgical patients, a role that includes preparing the surgical site and equipment.
  • Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and managing patient needs, and monitoring patient recovery.
  • Act as a patient advocate, maintain a sterile environment, coordinate with the healthcare team, and provide patient education for recovery.
  • BLS and minimum of 2 years current general OR nursing experience with circulating in a variety of clinical settings required. Scrub experience is desired but not required.
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Current unrestricted WA license One year of Operating Room nursing experience Scrub and or Circulate experience
