1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum position at a high-volume, high-census facility requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Work in a high-volume, high-census Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum unit serving a diverse patient population with high-risk obstetric cases Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Standard caseload is 4 couplets Floating is required to Issaquah Campus (Postpartum), Edmonds Campus (Postpartum), and Labor & Delivery for 2nd-hour recovery 6 weekend days required per contract Epic EMR experience is required Requirements Active WA state RN license or compact RN license required Current BLS and NRP certifications required Minimum 2 years of Mother-Baby/Postpartum nursing experience required High-risk obstetric care experience required Hands-on experience with Magnesium, Pitocin, Foley, postpartum hemorrhage management, and substance withdrawal required Epic EMR proficiency required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Care for postpartum patients following delivery, including high-risk obstetric and couplet care cases JADA experience is preferred First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler; former Swedish facility staff must also reside more than 50 miles from the facility Former permanent employees of other (non-Swedish) Providence facilities are eligible after a 3-month separation All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination Minimal RTO is expected for this position; requests should be submitted prior to or at the time of considerationSimilar jobs in Seattle, WA
