1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-risk L&D experience and Epic proficiency, working night shifts in a hospital setting. Details Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit High-risk L&D patient population including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, induction/augmentation, and maternal emergencies Antepartum (AP) patients also included in the caseload Patient ratios: 1:2 for laboring patients, 1:3 for antepartum patients Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Some weekend shifts required Floating between all facilities within the state is required No on-call requirements Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active WA RN license or Compact RN license Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience High-risk Labor & Delivery experience required, including active management of laboring patients and maternal emergencies Epic EMR proficiency required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide nursing care to high-risk laboring and antepartum patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, and maternal emergencies Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of assignment Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position 13-week contract
