Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients and families; and supervising assigned team members.
Pay Range:
$50 - $55 per hour, based on experience Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Clinic Nurse:
Perform "AT Risk Foot Care" assessments; identify vascular and neuro changes that need referrals to a higher level of care Perform physical assessment, provide education on conservative vs. invasive intervention as they align with patient goals and develop a plan of action with the physician Perform head to toe assessment during pre-op appointment, ensure post op medications are ordered Documentation of Impression, plans and follow up, per physician dictation Provide telephone triage and manage physician communications
Surgical Nurse:
Patient assessment prior to surgery Monitor patients during the pre-op, operative, and post-op phases Provide post op education to patients Set up surgical suite and sterile field Assist the surgeon in a sterile fashion throughout the procedure Ensure all equipment is working properly, nitrogen and oxygen tanks are adequately filled, check that crash cart and medications are up to date. Facilitate prompt patient turn over
Required Skills and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current nursing license, in good standing with the state licensing board (MD) Minimum of 1 year OR experience Federal, State, and GHR- required credentials current and on file Cognitive skills as related to the position Proficient in Microsoft, Google, and EMR Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures Respects culture and religious practices of patients Punctual and dependent The ability to uphold HIPAA compliance is mandatory.
