The Clinical Resource is a regional clinical leadership role responsible for supporting and strengthening nursing operations across assigned skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the states of Washington . This position partners closely with facility leadership teams, Chief Nursing Officers, and interdisciplinary stakeholders to ensure high-quality, person-centered care, regulatory compliance, and consistent clinical practices. As a trusted advisor and mentor, the Clinical Resource plays a key role in developing nursing leaders, supporting survey readiness, and driving quality improvement initiatives. This role directly impacts clinical outcomes by identifying performance gaps, coaching leaders, and implementing systems that promote consistency, accountability, and excellence across multiple sites. The ideal candidate is an experienced nurse leader with a passion for teaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement who thrives in a regional, consultative role. Key Responsibilities Provide regional clinical oversight and support to skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities Serve as a primary clinical resource and mentor to Chief Nursing Officers and nursing leadership teams Conduct on-site clinical reviews, audits, and performance evaluations of nursing operations, documentation, and outcomes Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis, root-cause analysis, and quality monitoring Support facilities with survey readiness, complaint surveys, plans of correction, and follow-up action plans Educate and coach facility staff on regulatory requirements, clinical best practices, and company standards Validate clinical competencies of nursing leaders and support onboarding and orientation of new CNOs and clinical leaders Provide infection prevention oversight and guidance in alignment with state and federal regulations Partner with facility and corporate leadership to support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and resident dignity across all facilities Qualifications Active RN license in WA (or willingness to obtain); multi-state licensure preferred Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred Infection Preventionist certification required DNS-CT or CDONA certification preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or equivalent leadership role in skilled nursing or long-term care Multi-site or regional leadership experience preferred Strong working knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and quality improvement programs Proven ability to coach, mentor, and influence nursing leaders Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between facilities What We Offer Competitive salary starting at $140,000+ (depending on experience) Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision PTO, holidays, and sick leave Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage 401(k) retirement plan Mileage reimbursement for travel Opportunity to grow within a mission-driven organization Collaborative leadership culture focused on quality, accountability, and development Why Join Us At Cascadia Healthcare, you'll be part of a mission-driven healthcare organization committed to improving lives through exceptional care.
