Variable Shifts (Flexible 8 to 12-Hour Shifts) Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Family Birthing Center providing Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care. The ideal candidate will have strong maternal-child nursing experience and the ability to deliver comprehensive care while supporting positive outcomes for mothers and newborns. Primary Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages Perform physical, psychosocial, and cognitive patient assessments Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Supervise and delegate patient care activities to assigned staff Monitor maternal and neonatal conditions and respond appropriately to changes Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned, coordinating staffing, admissions, discharges, and transfers Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems Educate patients and families regarding labor, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge planning Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Ensure compliance with patient safety, regulatory, and quality standards Support a positive patient and family-centered care environment Required Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Licensure & Certifications Active Washington State RN License BLS Certification NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program - Advanced) ACLS Certification AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification Experience Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience Previous Labor & Delivery, LDRP, or Maternal-Child Nursing experience preferred Preferred Qualifications STABLE Certification RN-C Certification Charge Nurse experience Acute Care Family Birthing Center experience Required Skills Labor & Delivery Nursing Recovery & Postpartum Care Maternal Assessment Neonatal Assessment Fetal Monitoring Patient Education Care Coordination Charge Nurse Responsibilities Clinical Documentation Family-Centered Care Interdisciplinary Collaboration Contact Information For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
