Job Description

This full-time contract opportunity involves working closely with middle and high school students, supporting their health and wellness needs throughout the academic year. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active RN license with current credentials valid in Washington State Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred Demonstrated ability to respond to emergencies and manage chronic health needs Skill in developing individualized healthcare plans and providing health education Comfortable working across multiple school sites within a district Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and external healthcare providers Ability to maintain confidential records and comply with school and state protocols
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care and first aid to students as needed Oversee medication administration in accordance with district policies Assess student health status and implement appropriate interventions Promote general health education and preventive care within the school community Serve as a liaison between families, staff, and healthcare professionals Maintain accurate health records and document services provided Participate in IEP/504 plan meetings as required This onsite assignment is based across district campuses, predominantly at middle and high schools, and provides a rewarding environment for nurses eager to support student wellness on a broad scale.
